These waters are home to Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Red Grouper, Snook, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Mahi Mahi, and more if conditions are right. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Capt. Edwin runs a 22' Hydra-Sport center console that holds up to 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
