Leopard Rock Outfitters
Leopard Rock Outfitters runs game fishing trips around the rich waters of Watamu, Kenya. If you’re looking for a vessel fit to take on local big game, an experienced crew, and an all inclusive package, this is the charter to book.
Here you can find the likes of Mahi Mahi, Blue, Black, and Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin and Skipjack Tuna, and Wahoo. Invest your day trolling for these spectacular fish, and enjoy the scenery of the Watamu Banks. The crew will take you up to 28 nautical miles out in quest of your dream catch.
To cater to your needs, the crew will provide all the fishing gear. The best time to land a catch here is between September and late April. You will be fishing from Jasiri, a 33’ Bertrum boat. She is powered by twin 330 HP Caterpillar engines and is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio.
Jasiri can accommodate up to four anglers, as well as two children. The crew will gladly take on kids and will answer any questions you might have about your little ones before the trip.
Jasiri is wired to make the most out of your fishing trip. She features a flybridge, a fighting chair, outriggers, downriggers, and center riggers, snorkeling equipment, as well as an onboard toilet. Once you step onboard, you will have at your disposal a game fishing toolkit. This means rods, reels, and tackle, as well as lures and live bait.
The crew will also supply food and soft drinks and will take care of the fishing license. You will want to put on comfortable clothes, a cap, sunblock, sunglasses, and bring a camera. The crew can also provide a photographer for the day at an extra cost, which means you will have your hands free to get the fish. Invite your friends and hop onboard for some fine game fishing on Kenyan waters.
