The areas we will fish are very target rich, some groups shooting 100's of times per person!  Weather, tide and moon phase affects all trips, but the options are diverse, and we can always find something to pursue or somewhere to get out of the wind! Monster Black Drum and Huge Longnose Gar can be the main target, or we can pursue a mixed bag adventure. 

The Gulf offers dozens of possible opportunities including a Freezer Filler trip where my commercial licensing allows you to harvest Sheepshead with no limit!  Blue Crabs can be netted between shots or as the main target as well. Recreational limits apply. Multiple types of rays call the Gulf home and offer great day or night shooting. Freezer Filler trips require you help clean fish or pay a processing fee.
Freshwater options include Bowfin, Sailfin Catfish, 3 types of Gar, Tilapia, and more!

During the trip you will be bowfishing or gigging.  I have multiple bows, supply arrows and tips, and specialty gigs.  If you have a bow and want to use it, bring it. 

Capt. Matt will bring you aboard a 20' Sea Ark Center console with space for 6 passengers. It is set up for the super shallow and specialized areas we will fish!

Freshwater fishing areas and the Trophy Gar Charter will require a Freshwater Fishing License. FWC website is very helpful and has lots of options for residents and non-residents alike.
Saltwater fishing areas require nothing from you as my Charter Capt license covers your full experience. I do have commercial licensing that allows for much higher harvest limits than normal recreational limits for slot-sized Black Drum and Sheepshead, if you want to focus on them for the freezer

I provide bottled water and ice, you bring your favorite bug spray, food and additional drinks.  No Alcohol while we are fishing. Weather appropriate clothing is a must, it is cooler at night so bring extra layers.
