JDR Fishing – The Meat Wagon 

There's a fish with your name on it in Alba and JDR Fishing will help you catch it! With Captain Jimmy at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into White Bass, Crappie, Catfish, and whatever else takes the bait. On the day of your trip you're likely to spin using light tackle.

Capt. Jimmy believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea to keep 'em happy!

You'll be fishing aboard The Meat Wagon, a 23' Pro Sports Pro Bay 23 boat with room for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
