Trips with Dog Pound Charters are great for kids, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Capt. Nicholas welcomes you aboard a 25' Hewescraft sportfishing vessel with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
