Captain Bob Zales Charters exploits the extravagant fishing opportunities off the Panhandle’s coastline. Having been chartering boats in the area since 1965, Capt. Bob is one of the most qualified captains available to show you the rich waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

The “Leo Too,” is a 48’ Marine Management offshore sportfishing boat with enough room for up to 25 anglers. It comes equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and a fighting chair to get you right on the fish and to help you battle the toughest competition. It also boasts an air-conditioned interior with a galley, head, and plenty of room to relax either below the deck or up on the bow until the rods start bending.

Once on board, you’ll get rods and reels, and a selection of lures and bait. Live bait can be purchased on board and stored in Capt. Bob’s live well. You’ll be trolling or bottom fishing, while on the longer trips, you’ll have the chance to combine the two for maximum effect. At the end of the trip, your catch will be cleaned and prepared so that you can go home with a delicious treat to savor the day.

There’s a variety of trips near and offshore Panama City Beach, home to some of the most prized fish in the area. You can expect to target Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, and a range of pelagics including Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Barracuda, and King Mackerel.

Capt. Bob has been fishing since he was a kid, and still feels the same passion and excitement whenever he is out on the water. He loves working with anglers new or experienced, and thinks there’s no greater joy than watching children land their first fish. All you need to bring is some food and drinks.

    The 12-hour trip is Capt. Bob's longest trip where you'll fish the longest distance from shore. You'll mainly be bottom fishing but trolling for big pelagics is also an option. Departure times vary depending on the season.

My father wanted to charter fish out of Panama City, FL when I was 12 years old. We started our charter fishing business in 1965. We have continued in the charter fishing business for over 50 years as Capt Bob Zales Zodiac Charter Fleet as we once owned and operated 5 vessels. We now own and operate 1 vessel, LEO TOO, and are located behind Capt Anderson's restaurant at Capt Anderson's Marina on Panama City Beach.
