Lake Erie Bass Fishing with Capt Jonathan
Ready to cast a line in Erie? Capt Jonathan is here to make it happen!
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Freshwater Drum, and plenty more.
On the day of your trip you're likely to troll using light or heavy tackle. Capt Jonathan also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Any fish within the legal limit are yours to take home.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll find yourself aboard a 21' Ranger bass boat with space for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with Capt Jonathan is just a click away, so why not make it happen?

Captain Jonathan was great got us on some fish and was really patient and kind to my two boys and even helped them learn to fish better
Trenton, thank you for taking the time to leave this review and coming fishing. It was a blast and look forward to our next adventure
John put us on some huge bass.We lost a huge smallie within the first 20 mins! 5 mins later hooked up again. My friends 8 yr old kid was ecstatic! That was the biggest fish he'd ever caught in his life.
David, it was a blast to get you out on the water and get you on some big smallmouth bass. Thank you so much for leaving this awesome review. Let's go out again soon!

He gave us a heads up about conditions ahead of time, w/ rollers at 630 am, w/ forecast to get a bit rough. But we went, and we caught some nice smallies, biggest 19-20" 4-11 and a 16-17" 3-8, a walleye, gobies and a zebra mussel-LOL.... We' already decided we'll use him again for sure, Erie or Okeechobee !
Captain Jonthan knows his stuff. Everyone was more than please with his assistance and knowledge about fishing. He made sure everyone was involved and everyone caught fishes larger than ever before. We were impressed with his knowledge on of lake, and he knew where the fishes were biting.
Much appreaciated, look forward to the next time!
The fish were not jumping in the boat, but Jonathan put us on some quality fish. The biggest smallmouth of the day was 5 pounds 7 ounces!!! That’s a PR for me.
Thanks so much for the great review! The fish may not have been jumping in the boat, but I’m really glad I could get us on some solid smallmouth—and huge congrats on that 5-pound 7-ounce PB! That’s a catch to remember. I appreciate you coming out and hope we can do it again soon.
