Sideline Fishing Charters are a very family friendly company that provide inshore and offshore fishing trips to some of the most productive waters in the Gulf of Mexico. Headed by Captain Tim Edwards, who has 28 years experience fishing the northeast Gulf of Mexico and Apalachicola Bay, they provide a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service that is always happy to cater to your requests.
During your trip you will be able to experience the productivity of a commercial fishing vessel while enjoying all the benefits of a charter fishing trip. Fishing aboard the Sideline I, you will be able to make the most of the incredibly spacious deck that is perfect for up to six anglers, while also having the back-up of a comfortable cuddy cabin with a toilet. The boat is extensively fitted out for the most accurate and enjoyable fishing trip, with an electronics packet that includes a 12 inch Garmin chart plotter with back up, a 12 inch Furuno bottom machine, a Furuno 24 mile radar, and a VHF radio. There is also extensive safety equipment on board, as well as a 1500 pound ice box and bait station for your catch.
While Sideline Fishing Charters specialize in bottom fishing, they also do trolling, drift fishing, and light tackle inshore fishing. Whether you want to fish the inshore waters of the local bays and tributaries for Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and specialty fish like Tripletail and Tarpon, or fish offshore for Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, and more, the experienced and courteous captain and mate will provide the necessary knowledge and equipment to put you on the fish.
Scalloping charters and beach trips are also available, and are particularly well suited to families looking to spend some quality time on the water.
