We had a great day on the water with Tom! He was friendly, knowledgeable, gave excellent fishing technique advice, and went out of his way to make sure my 12 year old son and I had a fantastic fishing experience. His boat was clean and well-maintained, the gear was top-notch, and his relaxed, patient approach made the whole trip enjoyable. Tom clearly prioritizes creating great memories over watching the clock, and we caught our fill of nice sized salmon. He even filleted our catch for us at the end and shared some helpful cooking tips so we could enjoy the fish at home. I highly recommend going fishing with Tom to anyone.

We (group of 4) had a really great trip today with Tom. Initially we wanted to do the trip a couple of days ago but the weather was too rough. We then rescheduled the trip. Communication was easy. We went to 2 locations in 3 1/2 h on the water (then my brother got sea sick and wanted to head back; we could have stayed longer). After we had no luck at the first location, we caught 3 good salmon at the second one and 3 small ones. Tom filleted the fish for us at the end. We just had a really great time! Tom is super chill and knowledgeable.100% would recommend

Intro to Salmon Fishing on August 20, 2025 • 3 adults • 1 child

Captain Tom gave my family an unforgettable intro to salmon fishing charter! In less than two hours of line time we landed 4 excellent chinooks, dropped two undersized fish and had one monster shake its hook after a decent battle at the boat. Kids loved it and got to pull in the biggest fish of their lives. Awesome scenery, a tag along sea lion, and a friendly and knowledgeable captain made for the perfect evening n Ukee! Thanks for the memories!

Full Day Trip – Peak on August 6, 2025 • 2 adults

Didn’t have the most cooperative weather, but captain Tom was fully dedicated to salvaging something out of the day. He was very flexible and reasonable with us. We did end up catching a few small salmon, and Tom was very helpful as a guide and instructor. The boat and gear were newer and in good working order. I would highly recommend a charter with Tom. He was all about working as hard as he could to provide us with a fun and pleasurable experience.

Salmon fishing off the coast of Ucluelet with Tom made for an unreal afternoon! Tom's a very knowledgeable captian and angler. He's also relaxed and takes the time to teach everyone and make sure you're having a great time on the water. Within two minutes of setting up we were on and it was abolute gangbusters for the next couple hours coming away with some awesome fish! Would highly recommend an afternoon out with Tom, we will be back!
