Always wanted to feel the thrill of stalking a Redfish or hooking a Cobia on light tackle? With trips ranging from two hours to a full day, St Pete Beach Charters will cater for your needs and more in the Tampa Bay and the nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
You will be fishing aboard Captain Kenny’s new 23 ft Hanson center console boat that was built in 2016 specifically for the waters around Tampa Bay. Powered by a 200 HP Suzuki motor, the boat can carry up to six anglers to the fishing grounds fast and efficiently, and it is equipped with a trolling motor and anchoring system to get the most out of the area’s abundant fishing opportunities. With a great sound system on board and a very clean and well maintained interior, this boat will please all the members of your group. Its magnificent tower completes the picture, giving the captain superior visibility when sight fishing for Cobia and other species.
Depending on your preferences and the conditions during your trip, you could spend your St Pete Beach fishing adventure fishing for Redfish, Trout, Snook and Tarpon with conventional and spinning light tackle, or venturing further out in search of Cobia, King Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, and Groupers in the nearshore Gulf waters. The captain will always make sure that you are equipped with the best lures and bait for the time of day and species targeted, so all you have to think about is reeling in the fish.
Anglers of all experience levels are welcomed on board, and children are especially encouraged to come fishing with Captain Kenny.
