He is a well diversified fisherman who offers charters statewide, and one of his clients caught the current Michigan state record Chinook Salmon weighing 47.86lbs while aboard the Icebreaker!

You're likely to go after Walleye, and more, depending on the season. On these trips, it's common to troll using light or heavy tackle.

Trips with Icebreaker Charters are great for kids, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks!

Your adventure begins aboard a 29' Baha Cruisers Fisherman with capacity for 6 passengers. It has downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Bobby will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
