Based close to Fox River and Green Bay in Wisconsin, Walleye Mafia Charters’ goal is to offer some of the best Walleye fishing in the Midwest. Captain Troy Krause grew up in the area, and he covers the waters of Green Bay and the Winnebago system from Spring to Fall, pausing his boat-bound activities in the Winter to concentrate on ice fishing.
Walleye Mafia’s sleek Triton dual console boat can seat up to 4 anglers, although it is better suited for up to three people to fish at a time. It features a wireless trolling motor perfect for stealthy approaches, and a GPS and fishfinder to make sure you get to the sweet spots. Powered by a 250 HP Mercury engine, you can develop some serious speed as you search these stunning waters.
Where exactly you fish with Walleye Mafia will depend on the time of year. During the Spring, you’ll most likely fish Green Bay’s tributaries. Here, try vertical jigging, casting with minnows or plastics, as well as trolling shorelines and casting cranks.
As the year progresses into May and June, the fish begin to move out into the Bay, where you’ll fish the shallow shorelines. In July and August, head to the deeper waters, fishing in areas 20–40 feet deep. Whatever the time of year, Capt. Troy will make sure you’re in the best spot to catch a trophy fish or a good eater.
All the rods, bait, and tackle you need for your trip are included in the price, as well as expert advice on the best techniques for catching Walleye. Just be sure to bring suitable clothing, a cool box for your lunch, a head torch for night fishing, and a positive Walleye-catching attitude with you!
Join Walleye Mafia and head out for some world-class fishing in the prolific waters of Wisconsin!
