For these fish, you're likely to using light or heavy tackle.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks to keep their stamina going!

Your excursion begins aboard a 24' Everglades center console that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Bragging Rights.

Slow start, but great finish!
5 Hour Trip – Inshore on June 5, 20264 adults

We originally was booked for a Tuesday 8 hour trip, but the weather didn't cooperate. Captain Bragg called me the day before and we had a lengthy conversation about what would make or break our trip and we both agreed on the terms, and he as well blocked off a 5 hour charter for Friday just in case we had to cancel our Tuesday. Turned out that the wind was the deciding factor with a small craft advisory and 5-8 foot swells for Tuesday and Captain Bragg and we both decided to cancel our 8 hour for Tuesday, but still go on the 5 hour on Friday. I sprang a last minute request as we were boarding the boat because my son had just graduated high school and he in his normal delayed fashion mentioned that he would love to catch a shark. So as we were boarding Captain Bragg was getting all the bait ready and was just about to dump his last bag of shark chum from the day before (because we were doing an inshore trip) and instead saved it. In short, my son caught his shark and within the first 30 minutes at our first stop a 3 foot Bonnethead. The rest of the day was slow, but Captain Bragg is Johnny on the spot with rebaiting hooks, re-tying rods, and explaining the structure and everything else you need to know about all the stops and where to cast, and how deep to set your lures and such. During our trip we were plagued with storms and other bad weather prior to our charter, but Captain Bragg did his best to put us on fish throughout the day! We didn't catch a boat load, but you couldn't ask for a better experience! Absolutely an amazing Captain, very knowledgeable about the area and even though we didn't stock the freezer, I have no doubt that Captain Bragg can deliver!

Great time
5 Hour Trip – Inshore on May 26, 20263 adults1 child

We had an amazing time with Bragging Rights Fishing Charters and Captain Cameron. From the start, Cameron was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient with the kids. He took the time to explain everything, kept them engaged, and made sure they felt comfortable and included throughout the trip. His sense of humor really helped put the kids at ease and made the entire experience fun and relaxed for everyone on board. The trip was a perfect mix of fishing, laughs, and great memories. If you’re looking for a family-friendly charter out of Tybee Island, we highly recommend Cameron and Bragging Rights Fishing Charters. We’ll definitely be booking again.

Amazing experience
8 Hour Trip – Inshore on June 16, 20261 adult

Honestly the most fun I've had fishing in years. Captain Cameron was great. Felt like I was out fishing with a buddy. Just that buddy happened to know exactly where to get on the fish. We caught blacktip sharks, sharpnose sharks, red drums, sheepshead, and a massive spinner shark. Catching the spinner was probably one of coolest things I've ever experienced. Weather was perfect, fishing was perfect. 10/10 going again the next time I'm down here.

Response from Captain

preciate ya Tyrell! at this point you are a buddy. good fishing with ya man.

Great day of fishing
5 Hour Trip – Inshore - 1:00 PM on May 1, 20263 adults

Captain Cameron turned a challenging day with weather into great day of fun. Captain Cameron used his local knowledge to put us on the fish while dodging weather. Offered us a different day but we could not do it so went out. He managed the tides , weather, and the fishing holes. All this well maintaining a relaxed disposition so a bunch of old buddies could kick back and have a great time and catch some fish. Thanks Captain. we'll be back!

Response from Captain

thanks guys! had a great time with yall. look forward to seeing yall again.

Amazing Captains
5 Hour Trip – Inshore on November 21, 20254 adults

If I could give 10 stars I would. Cameron was unbelievable when we had to reschedule the fishing trip due to airline delays/cancelation. He worked all evening helping us find another captain, as he was unable to reschedule. Big shout out to Nick from Big Fish Charters, for stepping up to the plate and helping us out and taking the trip. I would recommend either of these two, as their customer service is amazing. They both go above and beyond. Nick's boat was very clean and equipment was in excellent condition. I can't say enough how great these two are! I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Thank You again Cameron and Nick!
