Great trip with Captain Kenny!  He was very on top of everything - modified our start time based on the weather, made a special trip to get the bait we needed and most importantly he put us on the fish!  Boat was very spacious and set up perfectly for our five person crew.  Gear was top notch and in excellent condition.  We caught a variety of different fish - mangrove snapper, red snapper, sheepshead, red drum and we even hooked a couple of shark!  Captain Kenny was great to work with - he made the trip fun and exciting for all levels of experience.  We highly recommend Reel Way Fishing Charters and we will definitely work with Captain Kenny next time we are in Pensacola!

Wow, what a great experience! We were in town visiting our son for Thanksgiving while he was stationed at the Navy base there. We only had time for a 4 hour trip but Kenny put us on the fish and it was the absolute best. Kenny communicated with us and kept us aware of the weather and even recommended going an hour earlier to avoid rain. We caught a good range of fish and brought home dinner for the night. There was a total of 5 of us ranging from young and old and we all caught a bunch of fish and had the best time. Thank you Kenny for an awesome time and we can’t wait to do it again!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. You want to have a fun fishing trip and catch fish? Call Captian Kenny.  His knowledge and experience is second to none. We were able to get our fill of vermilion snapper (40 fish total between the 4 of us) and we even landed two big Amber jack and one was big enough to keep. Captain Kenny’s knife skills at the cut table was a pleasure to watch as well. He cleaned our catch in no time flat. Captain Kenny’s charter service works well with people of all experience. We had two people in our group that had never fished on a boat and they ended up catching the most!! Everyone had an absolute blast. Would highly recommend booking a trip with captain Kenny!!

Hello reader! We don’t normally do reviews but it would be wrong not to share the outstanding experience we had with Captain Kenny.

At the start of our trip, Kenny was waiting at the dock for us and had everything ready to go for our 7 am start time. We headed out of Pensacola Bay, through Pensacola Pass, and out into the Gulf where Kenny quickly located fish and put us on them right away. 

Another nice detail to the trip was that Kenny had all of the fishing gear and bait prepared and ready which meant that the only time we didn’t have lines in the water was when we were resting our arms because we had been reeling in so many fish!

It was obvious to us that captain Kenny knew what he was doing but another bonus was that he was also a really nice guy. Sometimes guides on different adventures can be boring or annoying or whatever but Kenny was easy going, professional, and really down to earth. He made us feel like we had been friends for years.

Our boat for the day was comfortable and provided plenty of room for us all to move about without feeling crammed. The beanbag chairs in the stern were a nice touch and we enjoyed them on our way back into the bay once the trip was coming to an end.

So as I said, we don’t normally do reviews but we had such a great experience that I owed it to Kenny and to other vacationers to give a review and pass on the great experience. We are already planning our next trip back and will 100% be going on another trip with Captain Kenny!

Two of my son’s and I had a great trip with Kenny. He worked hard to find the fish for us and after we each caught a bunch of snappers and other species we went after a shark. He told us black bill and bull sharks were most common and every once in a while you can get into a hammerhead. However, he said he hadn’t seen one in over a year so not to get our hopes up too high for one. Sure enough we hooked a good one and as it got closer to the boat we realized it was about a 6-7 foot hammerhead! My 14 year old had a blast getting it in and was the highlight of our vacation. Thanks Kenny for a great trip and we highly recommend him for your next trip!
