At first I was alittle worried because he looked so young. After introductions and a little conversation I caught on to the facts he has been fishing the area all his life. He took us to an area that a few days before the fish were hitting. I caught a nuce keeper trout. I think i may have scared the gish off, we proceeded to catch a couple more, my great nephew out for his first time fishing like that caught the biggest fish. we managed to catch quite a variety of species, including a fish that looked like a bird. Despite not catching alot of fish we sll had an amazing time. I will keep his name and number for my next trip to Crystal River😀

If you’re looking for an unforgettable day on the water, Captain Jacob and just breathe is the real deal. We landed some absolute monsters, couple big snook and hefty redfish that put up an incredible fight. It was non-stop action, and the kind of day you dream about as an angler.
But what really made the trip stand out was the captain. Not only did he put us on fish all day long, but his knowledge of the area, the fish, and the entire ecosystem was next-level. Whether it was explaining tide patterns, the behavior of certain species, or even pointing out cool wildlife along the way, you could tell he’s spent years on these waters. He even threw in some random but fascinating facts that kept the ride between spots super interesting.
It wasn’t just a fishing trip—it was a full-on nature experience with an expert guide who genuinely loves what he does. Can’t recommend it enough. Book this charter. You’ll catch fish, learn a ton, and walk away already planning your next trip.

8 Hour Trip – Inshore on January 16, 2026
I have fished with Jacob on multiple occasions and I have never been let down, on our snook trip I caught a 37in snook and several smaller ones along with a nice Cobia. I have also caught plenty of big reds and over slot trout on his trips. His boat is extremely nice and has plenty of room to accommodate people and spread out, he uses high quality gear and good leader, hooks, etc I would highly recommend just breathe charters
