Trip Summary
Let the local weather man tell it; it should of been a great day with single digit winds he said. Got out on the bay with customers and sure enough the winds were 15 mph with winds gusting over 20 at times. Well we were there and had to make the best of it, so we drifted water close to shore traveling away from it with drift socks deployed. This insures the boat speed moving over the scattered shell to be reduced. My customers had a great time learning new tactics while also learning how to adjust with the given fishing conditions. A little grace from above, the trip went well; including one of the guys managed to land his personal best Speckled Trout of 24.75".
