Sportfishing is my passion. From the time I was 7 years old, I dreamed of being two things: A PGA Tour player and a Professional Sportfishing Captain. I wake up every day pinching myself. I absolutely love what I do, I feel incredibly humbled and blessed that I am afforded the opportunity to do it, and I look forward to serving you!

If you want the fishing excursion of a lifetime, the Wahoo is where you shall find it. From the start to finish, it was a seamless experience. When our group arrived, the crew was ready to embark and take us on the trip of a lifetime. And that it was. After introductions, which lasted a minute or two, we were off. During the whole trip the boat was basically like we owned it. I have never felt more at home than the owner and crew made us feel. Most of who are looking for an offshore trip are looking for a boat and crew that set it apart from the rest of the field I would guess. Well the thing that sets this crew apart from the rest would have to be the first the dredge camera (which films underwater as the fish approaches). The boat is equipped with a special prop system which minimizes the amount of bubbles and froth so the images are clear. Second is the the drone that is buzzing around filming the fish and angler as his once in a lifetime experience is taking place.  A few days after the trip you will be emailed a link to view your memories of a lifetime.

I was a bit shy about doing a full day offshore trip.  I like fishing but dont love it.  Its a long day and it will be hot.

Well, I was so surprised when every moment of my trip was full of one new surprise after another.  From the movie theater seating in the AC on the ride out to the incredible staff to the drone videos we got from the first mate of the boat.

Not only would i do it again I have already booked a trip for my sisters upcoming wedding party.  I highly recommend Captain Chris and his team.

I’m not extremely “outdoorsie”, so a hardcore, full day, open water fishing trip isn’t usually my go-to activity. That being said, John and the crew of the Wahoo went above and beyond in showing a newbie like me an authentic and unforgettable experience. Not 10 minutes into dropping our lines, we snagged a massive wahoo and the fun never really let up after that.

They assisted me every step of the way when I attempted to reel fish in, educated me when I had any questions and offered me the proper medication required to battle seasickness (which I obviously got hit with).

And why hasn’t anyone else come up with the idea to capture drone footage on these charters??? BRILLIANT! I walked away with an awesome video documenting our trip, compliments of John and his crew.

A+ charter and overall experience! Again, I don’t do these kinds of trips often, but I will 100% roll with Wahoo whenever I do.
