Spend the day with Saltline Expeditions and see what's biting in Steinhatchee! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Kyle can tell you all about them.

Fish like Redfish, Cobia, Bluefish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Scallop, Snook, Black Seabass, Black Drum, Tarpon, and more could be biting if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to troll using light tackle.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Capt. Kyle will bring you aboard a 25' Carolina Skiff that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures, and soft plastics. Live bait can be added by request.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Don't forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed with approval from the captain, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

You could keep reading this, but wouldn't you rather be fishing with Saltline Expeditions?

Great crew to spend the day with
Half Day Trip - 12:00 PM on December 27, 20254 adults
Kyle and Taylor were wonderful hosts. They put us on fish and tended to all our needs. Our crew consisted of two retired pro boat drivers. He survived our scrutiny with class. Taylor is a true local with great passion and knowledge of the area. She was gracious enough to convince us she LOVED filleting fish. Thanks Kyle and Taylor for a wonderful day. (and dinner!)
