Go on the ultimate big game fishing adventure with Pesca Passion, a Costa Rica-based company that operates out of Golfito. The southeast part of the country is close to some of the best and most varied sportfishing opportunities in the world.
Pesca Passion 4 is a fully equipped 28’ center console boat spacious enough for up to 4 anglers to fish in comfort. Featuring a live bait tank with a pump to keep the bait in the best condition, as well as outriggers and downriggers for trolling, the boat is ready to take on the local waters with gusto.
Top of the range Shimano and Penn tackle is supplied on board, with Shimano Tiagra, Shimano Stella, and Penn International reels used as standard. You’ll get all the fishing licenses, as well as live bait and a range of artificial lures.
Both seasoned anglers and novices will find their demands met and their expectations exceeded by the highly experienced English speaking crew on the boat. Whatever your experience level, they will do all they can to make your trip exciting and fulfilling. You’ll get the chance to try a wide variety of techniques including jigging, popping, and slow trolling to attract your target fish.
Once you feel a bite, they will offer you expert advice as you reel in your catch, whether it is a striking Roosterfish, an enormous Cubera Snapper, a super speedy Trevally, or the centerpiece of Costa Rica fishing – a Sailfish.
The team at Pesca Passion are strong believers in practicing catch and release of endangered species to preserve this fantastic fishery for future generations. They are, however, happy for you to keep some fish to eat later in the evening if you want to enjoy the fruits of your hard work over dinner.
