Depending on conditions, you might hook into Rockfish, White Seabass, Pacific Barracuda, Calico Bass, California Sheephead, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Flounder, Sculpin, Mako Shark, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail Amberjack, and whatever else is biting.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. WENYU also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

shark maritime is a kid-friendly charter service, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

You'll be dropping lines from a 48' Sportfishing with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. WENYU will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.
