Laid off in May of 2016 from the oilfield, I immediately had to find a resource for my family to survive and my son was also diagnosed with cancer. I had "Revelry" (my 27' Catamaran) since 2012, and figured that I must sell her to make ends meet until i found another job. My wife told me that I should put the boat to work with my love of fishing. I had met Captain Scott at a networking mixer in the Woodlands while we both still worked in the oilfield. We talked of chartering the boat as he had his Captain's license. I never really cared a whole lot for the idea because I didn't want to lose my love of fishing. It didn't take long, after Shana told me to get to work, that Scott and I met to lay it all out. The first 5 months of 2016 we fished over 1000 customers. We have since added 4 more boats. I am a USCG licensed and Texas Licensed guide in the state of Texas. I am also a certified Weighmaster (IGFA and state record certification) and a Texas Director of Saltwater Tournaments

Originally book the trip in Sep but have changed during hurriance Harvey. Today goes out with Caption Matt, and had a amazing trip!

The first red fish fishing is a little bit slow, but caption has successfully improved the odd of the fish by consistently helping on the chucking. Than in the second part for King fishing, caption has did a great tolling and we have get our bad limit right before the trip finished.

Long story short, this is the first time I had both red and King. Highly recommended and will be back next season
