The Water Experience

2649 Stella Avenue
Port O'Connor TX, United States

Fishing with Captain Casey is an experience you won’t soon forget! He specializes in poling the backcountry and shallow flats and using light tackle for an unforgettable shallow water fishing experience. Your time will be spent sight casting to tailing fish on some of the clearest water on the Texas Coast.

The Water Experience gives you the best possible chance to get to where the fish are. With a poling skiff that can reach extremely shallow waters, low tides and flats won’t be a problem, and the boat’s powerful Yamaha motor will make sure you get to the best places to find the fish quickly and efficiently.

Capt. Casey works diligently to get you on the fish. There will be no sitting in one spot waiting for a random fish to come along and take your bait. He hunts feeding fish down and puts you within casting range. You will be surrounded by fish, coastal grasses, mangroves, birds, wildlife, and clear waters all day: the only thing you won’t see is other boats nearby. Capt. Casey takes pride in exploring untouched waters other fishermen just can’t get to.

Casey is a licensed USCG Master Captain and is CPR and First Aid Certified. He has fished the Texas coastal waters for the past 25 years. He knows and frequently fishes the bays of Matagorda, Lavaca, San Antonio, Aransas Espiritu Santo, Corpus Christi, along with Rockport,  Port Aransas, Upper & Lower Laguna Madre, Baffin Bay and Port Mansfield.

Half, full, and 3/4 day trips are available with The Water Experience. Families are always welcome and encouraged to come aboard, and Capt. Casey’s boat is always stocked with refreshments to keep everyone comfortable while on the water.

Cap’t Casey is able and willing to accommodate most requests, including transportation to and from local airports.

About the Captain

Casey Brown
Port O'Connor, Texas, United States
Member since June 2016
Cap't Casey was raised with a fishing rod in his hand. He has a passion for the outdoors and being out on the water. Throughout his life, if he has had a spare hour it would be spent fishing, whether it be on the pond behind his house or on the Texas Coast. His Dad used to take him fishing at a very young age and he quickly became quite good at it! Capt. Casey was in fishing clubs at Texas A&M University, he frequently fishes tournaments, and he is an active CCA board member in his local chapter. He surrounds himself with opportunities to get out on the water whenever possible - fishing isn't a job for him but a way of life. His experience has proven to be a major asset in his ability to locate and outsmart the fish. You won't be disappointed in a trip with Capt. Casey!
