Nestled on the Eastern shore of Mobile Bay, is a quaint little fishing town called Fairhope.

My name is Captain Stanton, and I have been addicted to inshore saltwater fishing in and around Mobile Bay since I was old enough to walk down the Fairhope pier and peek into everyones buckets.

I have roughly 35 years experience fishing the Mobile Bay watershed. We are super blessed down here to have such a diverse and unique ecosystem to experience. Typically the species we target the most are going to be Speckled Trout, Redfish, Tripletail, and Flounder. Some of which is seasonal, but the beautiful thing about the Mobile Bay area is that there is always something to chase. Your ride for the day is a very comfortable 22' NauticStar tournament bay, powered by a super reliable 250 suzuki ss, with all the accompanying bells and whistles.

Our favorite trips that we run are ones that in some way involve kids. Our children will be the next generation in charge of these resources, we love helping educate them and plant that love seed for the sport. Those smiles are what its all about. One thing we do ask, is if you have a child under the age of 8 please bring a lifejacket that fits the child with you. All adult safety equipment is provided, childrens vests can just be very size specific, and safety is always #1 priority.

All rods and reels, tackle, bait, fuel, ice, etc will be provided, but if you prefer to bring your own equipment that is no issue what so ever. Your fishing license for the day is also covered by the charter boat for your convenience. Alcohol is allowed, but no glass bottles please.

We try to offer you the most convienient, easygoing, enjoyable fishing experience possible.

Bay-Water is a very conservation minded charter service that tries to minimize the effects on our resource. We strongly recommend practicing catch and release, but we also are happy to help you bring a sack full of fish home if thats what you're after. Gimme a call and lets go fishing

Perfect Fishing Trip with Bay-Water Fishing Charters
4 Hour Trip on April 2, 20261 adult1 child
I travelled with a fishing buddy from Michigan to Fairhope in early April and connected with Captain Lee. I have extensive experience fishing in northern freshwater but this was my first salt water trip. The best decision we made was trusting Captain Staton with guiding us on the adventure. We caught more fish in 4 hours on the chartered trip than we did on every other day of our 4 day trip fishing on our own; combined. On top of that, he’s a comfortable/fun dude to spend 4 hours with. I generally prefer to fish with close friends who have like minded approaches to fishing and conservation and I was pleasantly surprised to learn Captain Lee prioritizes protecting natural resources while providing top notch service. The Captain put us on the fish all day and worked with us on maximizing our luck by selecting the best date/time to fish (around our schedule & the tide). I recommend this charter to anyone with kids or anyone looking to learn from a very experienced fisherman. Casting off the bow of his beautiful 22 ft boat and catching fish was a dream.
