Panama Deep Water offers fun and educational trips in Panama City, Panama. This area offers world-class fishing available at just miles off the coast of this beautiful country. Captain Jorge Lam has fished these waters his whole life and has always gravitated towards teaching others how to fish and sharing their joy when they are victorious.
One of the best things about fishing in Panama is the multitude of species that populate these waters year round. The warm and favorable weather is a huge influence and is what brings Blue Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, a variety of Snapper and Grouper, Roosterfish, Amberjack, and many more species here.
Captain Jorge uses a variety of techniques to target the fish including spearfishing, light and heavy tackle, spinning, bottom fishing, trolling, and more. Using the provided lures and live bait such as Shrimp, Allogona, and more, you will be able to target the species of the season.
Fishing is done aboard a 36’ Tiara Yacht, which is a top-of-the-line fishing vessel equipped for deep sea water fishing. It can comfortably accommodate up to ten passengers including six anglers and four companions, and features ample deck space. Powered by twin 250 Yamaha inboard motors with a top speed of 37 knots, this yacht is very fast.
The vessel is equipped with a Garmin GPS, a fishfinder, a VHF radio, a sound system for entertainment, tuna tubes, an ice box, and snorkeling equipment if you wish to get up close and personal with the marine life.
Panama Deep Waters provides rods, reels, tackle, lures, fishing licenses, catch cleaning and filleting, as well as drinking water, snacks in the form of fruit or granola, and a BBQ if you want to use it.
