Jones Sport Fishing offer guided fishing day trips for Steelhead, Salmon, Sturgeon, Walleye, and Smallmouth Bass on the Snake River at the lower end of Hell’s Canyon, Washington. These trips are perfect for friends, families and corporate events alike, and you will be in great hands with Captain Kyle Jones and his team, who have years of experience on these waters.

You will fish aboard a 2013 23’ Wyatt Water jet sled, which was custom built to fish these particular rivers. It is powered by a 225HP Yamaha VMAX outboard motor, and is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, VHF radio. This is a wide vessel with plenty of space and seating to accommodate up to six anglers, and offers a stable and flat casting deck.

Jones Sport Fishing will guide you through various fishing techniques to best reel in your target species, including light tackle, trolling, drift fishing, fly fishing, as well as heavy tackle when going after Sturgeon. Trips include rods, reels and tackle, live bait, lures, catch cleaning and filleting, as well as drinks and a hot lunch.

    Full day fishing for Steelhead on the Snake River in Washington on the lower section of Hell's Canyon. This area provides a world class Steelhead fishing experience from October-February. We launch daily out of Heller Bar located 35 minutes from Clarkston, WA. We average 6-10 Steelhead to the boat/day and many days of double digit fish to the boat. Price includes fishing gear, live bait, lures, drinks, a hot lunch, and cleaning of your catch at the end of the day.

    Fish for trophy catch and release oversized Sturgeon on the Snake River out of Heller Bar. We routinely catch fish in the 8-10 foot range. This is the ultimate freshwater trophy species. Snake River Sturgeon fishing is an experience that every fisherman should experience! We run sturgeon fishing trips April-November. Price includes fishing gear, live bait, lures, drinks, a hot lunch, and cleaning of your catch at the end of the day.

Captain Kyle Jones grew up on the water, and as a small child was already chasing Trout, Salmon and Steelhead. His love of fishing and the outdoors inspired him to turn his passion into a career. Not only does he hold a Master OUPV coast guard license as well as being fully insured and licensed in Oregon and Washington State, but he has also completed a Bachelor Degree in Fisheries Resources from the University of Idaho. Armed with many years of experience and a world of knowledge about these waters, Capt. Kyle is committed to ensuring your fishing trip exceeds your expectations, and that you leave with memories to last a lifetime.
