Their 2015 18’ Polar Kraft is powered by a 70HP Yamaha outboard motor, which with speeds of up to 35 knots can get you to the action in no time. Its LED lights are in the water rather than above, and are therefore much better at illuminating the bottom to spot unsuspecting fish. The vessel is wide with plenty of space to accommodate four anglers, and comes equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and icebox to keep your catch fresh and your refreshments cool.
Charleston Gigging mostly use gigging, handline, and light tackle fishing techniques. They offer specialized trips for targeting Catfish, Flounder, and Striped Bass, while other species you may encounter include Redfish, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Black Drum, and more. You will be provided with all necessary fishing gear, while fishing licenses are also included.
