First, Capt. Tom knows his stuff.  We were going after fluke.  He knows where they are.  When one spot was not producing, he moved us to another spot quickly, not wasting time.

While we were moving to another spot, he spotted some birds going after bunker.  He quickly told us to put the fluke fishing rods away and he gave us rods to go after blues.  It was a blast reeling in almost two dozen blues.  We caught some blues that my Dad couldn’t even reel in.  We chased after the blues using the birds as a guide for about two hours.

Afterwards, we went back to chasing after flukes.  This one spot he took us to was very productive.  We caught three and one keeper, before it started raining.  We were moving to another spot to possibly avoid the rain, when the boat’s engine died.  We had to be towed into the marina and our trip was cut short.  It would have been nice to continue the trip as the weather did eventually clear up.

Overall, I would rebook with Capt. Tom.  He knows his stuff.  Would have been a great experience except for the boat engine dying.
