Carter’s Sport Fishing
Carter’s Sport Fishing is a full-time fishing guide service located in Fort Myers, Florida. Owned and operated By Captain Tom Carter, the company specializes in inshore and nearshore fishing, and it also offers eco tours, sunset cruises, and day trips on the water that will suit everyone in your party.
Trips are held aboard a 21 ft Mako that was built in 2015. The boat gives a comfortable ride to groups of up to four anglers, and it is powered by a 150 HP Mercury engine for a fast ride between the area’s numerous honeypots. The boat is fitted with a range of electronics for expert navigation and safety, and it has a trolling motor and an anchoring system, as well as an ice box filled with bottled water to keep you cool and hydrated on hot summer days.
Anglers of all ability levels are welcome on board. Whether you want to stalk tailing Redfish on the flats, explore the mangroves in search of Snook, or travel to the nearshore reefs to fish for Snappers, Groupers, and Sharks, Captain Tom will provide all the gear and instruction you need to make your day on the water one you will not forget. Fish the iconic waters around Sanibel Island, Pine Island, Captiva Island, and Fort Myers Beach and try catching the fish of a lifetime. Top of the line equipment by well known brands such as Penn, Shimano, Sage, and BPS Extreme is provided by the charter.
As well as fishing, you will be able to spend your day on the water viewing the area’s stunning wildlife, with Dolphins, Manatees, Sea Turtles, and exotic Birds all sharing this beautiful ecosystem with you and the fish you are targeting. Top off your day with a delicious meal made fresh with your catch (cleaned and filleted by the captain) served at one of the area’s many waterside restaurants.
