About the Charter Operator

Costa Rica Dreams Sportfishing

Member since May 2016
I grew up in Alaska, mostly fishing Salmon and Halibut, and have fished offshore, rivers and lakes for over 20 years. I moved to Seattle where I lived for another +20 years, continuing to fish for Salmon and Halibut, along with a lot of Dungeness Crab in our 40' Meridian. For work, I traveled all over the world and fished Asia, Europe, Middle East and all over Latin America & the Caribbean, where I fished every chance I had. I always found myself enjoying fishing for Marlin & Sailfish due to the pure beauty of these fish, and the fight they would put on. After my wife and I retired, we picked up and moved to Costa Rica to chase our passion. Today we now own 5 charter boats based out of the Los Suenos Marina here in Herradura, Costa Rica. - Captain Rich Roberts
