Captain Ryan is born and raised in Tofino. He has been a guide for over 32 years in the pristine Clayoquot Sound and started commercial fishing with his dad as early as 8 years old. He knows the waters like the back of his hand and will ensure you have a memorable experience.

The trips vary from 5 to 10-hours, mainly fishing for Salmon, Halibut, Black Cod depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, and jigging.

You'll be fishing aboard a 25' Pursuit that holds up to 3 passengers (please reach out should you be a group of 4 with little kids).
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.

You need to get a valid fishing license before the trip. This information is available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag (Salmon), so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water (no glass), and sunglasses.
