Joe Snook Guide Service
Joe Snook Guide Service runs fishing trips around the waters of Marco Island, Florida. Captain Joe Cassaro has been fishing these waters for over 25 years, and his goal is to make his guests happy, have the best experience on the water, and tailor a trip of their lifetime.
Whether you’re a first timer or seasoned angler, whether you want a fun family trip out on the water or a trophy catch, feel welcome, and hop onboard. Snook is not the only species you will target. Captain Joe will take you fishing for Tarpon, Redfish, Black Drum, Tripletail, Cobia, Shark, and Permit.
You will join him aboard his 22’ Blue Wave bay boat. She can take up to five anglers. The vessel is equipped with the standard safety equipment, has GPS, a fishfinder, a live bait well, an ice box, and a wireless trolling motor. This boat is ideal for 3 adults max or two adults and 2 kids under 13.
When you head out, the captain will supply you with rods, reels, and tackle, and lures. On most occasions he will prepare live bait and have it ready already at the dock, but depending on the trip and tides, you may be fishing for it on your trip. But don’t worry, it usually takes around half an hour, and the captain will make up for the time spent.
Catch and release is allowed to help preserve the fisheries, but if you’re looking for a meal, you can keep your catch, and the captain will clean it for you. He will bring a cooler where you can store your fish.
When you pack for the trip, the captain recommends that you bring a long sleeve performance shirt. You may also want to bring a buff, a cap, and amber lense sunglasses, so you can have the edge when casting your lure. Pack some snacks, and drinks, and a camera to capture your day out.
We don’t do. Offshore and Reef Fishing trips.
