Joe Snook Guide Service runs fishing trips around the waters of Marco Island, Florida. Captain Joe Cassaro has been fishing these waters for over 25 years, and his goal is to make his guests happy, have the best experience on the water, and tailor a trip of their lifetime.

Whether you’re a first timer or seasoned angler, whether you want a fun family trip out on the water or a trophy catch, feel welcome, and hop onboard. Snook is not the only species you will target. Captain Joe will take you fishing for Tarpon, Redfish, Black Drum, Tripletail, Cobia, Shark, and Permit.

You will join him aboard his 22’ Blue Wave bay boat. She can take up to five anglers. The vessel is equipped with the standard safety equipment, has GPS, a fishfinder, a live bait well, an ice box, and a wireless trolling motor. This boat is ideal for 3 adults max or two adults and 2 kids under 13.

When you head out, the captain will supply you with rods, reels, and tackle, and lures. On most occasions he will prepare live bait and have it ready already at the dock, but depending on the trip and tides, you may be fishing for it on your trip. But don’t worry, it usually takes around half an hour, and the captain will make up for the time spent.

Catch and release is allowed to help preserve the fisheries, but if you’re looking for a meal, you can keep your catch, and the captain will clean it for you. He will bring a cooler where you can store your fish.

When you pack for the trip, the captain recommends that you bring a long sleeve performance shirt. You may also want to bring a buff, a cap, and amber lense sunglasses, so you can have the edge when casting your lure. Pack some snacks, and drinks, and a camera to capture your day out.

I have been fishing in Florida backwaters and offshore for 30 years, and still love every minute being out introducing this incredible water Wonderland to my guests. I have a passion for going out and hunting down Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Trout and Sharks. Whether you're looking to target the trophy fish of a lifetime or a family trip to go out and have fun catching fish, looking at dolphins and picking shells off the remote beaches of the ten thousand islands, I can bring you out for a great memorable trip. Thank you for considering me as your guide.

Great Fall Fishing
Great Fall Fishing
November 3, 2022
We've been having some really good days of fishing this fall while the weather patterns are stable. Alot of Snook, Tarpon and Redfish have been caught in the last couple months. Live bait and artificial lures are the usual techniques to catch these florida sport fish along with some successful fly trips. To see one of my favorite clients trip on video so you can see the area, style of fishing and me in action here is a link or you can see all my videos on you tube under joesnook fishing charters channel.
