Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Cubera Snapper, Lane Snapper, Amberjack, African Pompano Jack, Yellowtail Amberjack, Horse-eye Jack, Great Barracuda, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and whatever else is biting.

You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Esvin also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Capt. Esvin operates a 25' Imemsa panga with room for 8 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
