Pacific Coast Fishing Charters
Come join Pacific Coast Fishing Charters and discover the beautiful, bountiful waters of Forster and Crowdy Head! With native NSW fisherman Captain Richard Dihm at the helm, you’ll be exploring this fantastic fishery with the guidance of a truly experienced local.
Capt. Richard’s first vessel was a 11’ timber rowboat, at the age of 12. Many boats have come and gone since then, but his love of fishing remains as fresh as his first cast. He has one simple motto when it comes to running his charter: along with safety and organization, having fun is high up on the list! Whether you’re looking to target some big game species, spend a day sportfishing, or take your family on an estuary adventure, Capt. Richard offers something for every guest.
You’ll be heading on your adventure in a 24’ Fisher 7.5 aluminum boat. She’s equipped with top-of-the-line navigational and safety gear – no matter whether you’re heading offshore or to the estuary, she’ll get you on fish in plenty of comfort. She’s also fully mobile, so Capt. Richard is happy to depart on your trip from Forster or Crowdy Head. Just discuss this with him in advance – he’s happy to customize your adventure for you!
As for the species you’ll be targeting, it depends on your location – either way, you’ll be spoilt for choice! If you opt for an offshore adventure, get ready for battle, as you’ll come face-to-gills with a bounty of big game fish. Expect to reel in Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, and plenty more. There’ll also be a variety of Snapper lurking around the reefs. If you choose to cruise the estuary, expect to haul in plenty of Crab, as well as Flathead, Black Jewfish, and more.
Your captain will provide you with top-notch rods and reels, and you’ll be reeling in your own live bait as you travel to the fishing hotspots. Your fishing license is also included, so all that’s left is to grab your favorite snacks and come aboard Pacific Coast Fishing Charters to see how the locals do it!
