If you're here to make the most of fishing in Cortez, look no further than Florida Fishing Fleet.

Vermilion Snapper, Grunt, Porgies, and more could be biting if conditions are right.

On these trips, it’s common to bottom fish using light tackle. We welcome all levels of fishing experience, from beginners to pros!

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Don't forget to bring snacks so nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your boat for the day is a 50' headboat with room for 24 passengers. It comes with all the essentials a fishing machine needs. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. We have a 10-passenger minimum on all split trips; if we do not reach our 10-passenger minimum, the boat will not run that day. We typically make trip minimum and weather calls the afternoon before the trip. A split trip means that it is a per-person rate, and others can book on the same boat. This is not a private trip. Fun will be had by all!

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.

Trips are run with the help of a first mate. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them an 18–20% tip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may have to release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

You can't go wrong by bringing sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but no hard liquor or glass bottles.

Now's the time to experience fishing in Cortez for yourself with Florida Fishing Fleet!

Great trip!
5 Hr – Offshore Shared Fishing Trip on July 12, 20261 adult1 child

It was a great fishing trip for my 6 year old son and me. We caught a lot of grunt. Captain Jim and Scott were extremely helpful and got us on fish that kept us busy the whole time. This is a great trip for all ages and fishing experience levels. They will clean your fish for you when you get back to the dock. I highly recommend and we will be definitely do this trip again when we visit!

Great fishing trip!
5 Hr – Offshore Shared Fishing Trip on June 24, 20262 adults

My dad I had a great experience on this fishing trip! The crew were very nice and knew what they were doing and helped everyone along the way! The weather was beautiful and we ended up catching quite a few fish that were biting and we had lots of fun! I recommend this charter to all of the other anglers looking to do some drop fishing!
