Marsh River Outfitters is here to help you experience the stunning waters of the kennebec.

We will target striped bass and mackerel on the river and surrounding ocean.

During the trip you might be spin fishing ,trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Andrew also offers fly fishing for small groups.

Trips with Marsh River Outfitters are open to the whole family, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Capt. Andrew operates a 26' Aluminum fishing that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
