If you want to catch a Black, Blue, or Striped Marlin, Rathlin Charters will give you the opportunity to do so from January until May. Take a game fishing charter at this time of year, and you will always have a chance to pick up a Mahi Mahi or Mako Shark at the same time. Wintertime fishing is no less exciting, with the chance of catching large Bluefin Tuna from the end of June till the end of August.
If that wasn’t enough, reef fishing is great all year round. The natural reefs that lie within easy reach of Merimbula are amazing fishing grounds for colorful and delicious species such as Snapper, Morwong, Flathead, Gummy Shark, and a few other species that frequent the reefs.
Whether this is your first fishing trip or your hundredth, you are sure to be reeling in a personal best or trophy fish before you know it. You’ll be using top quality rods and reels, with live bait and lures included in the price of the trip too.
The captain will advise what can be taken home, and will happily fillet this for you after the trip. Also provided are drinks and snacks on all the trips. You just need to bring along plenty of enthusiasm, polarized sunglasses, and white-soled shoes.
Book a trip with Rathlin Charters for an unforgettable day out.
