Boat nice and well equipped.  Captain and crew very good and worked hard. Unfortunately, not a single strike all day but that’s fishing.  Suspect we just weren’t very lucky.  Boat did have stronger than typical smell of diesel but just finished an engine overhaul the day before our booking and suspect that some diesel was spilled in the process.  They were very responsive to email communication and were accommodating by picking us up at airport ( in the boat) and delivering us back to the hotel.

Boat and crew were fantastic, but you put me on the wrong boat, I requested a GT popper sport fishing trip. Instead you put me on a trawling boat. The skipper took me to a spot to cast for GT’s but there were only 3 casting rods available. 1 was a 13 foot beach rod, ridiculous ! The second had a broken real and was a short boat rod, the third was another short boat rod with half a spool of line. After about 30 cast my arm was about to drop off as the equipment was completely wrong for this style of fishing. After seeing this was a complete waste of time I asked the captain if we can just go and troll lures as I could see this is what the boat and equipment was designed for. We caught a nice yellow fin tuna which was a relief , but I didn’t go there to catch yellow fin. $2500au to catch a tuna that I could of caught on any boat at home, I specifically requested on numurous times to target GT’s and I wanted to be placed on a GT boat that had experience with catching GT’s.

I travell frequently and I do not think I will use this service again. I sent so many emails in regards to the type of fishing I wanted to do and couldn’t specify it anymore than I did. Happy with the crew as they were very nice people but disappointed with the boat selection you booked for me.
