Marina Charters – Reel Mermaid 34ft 

Marina Charters invites you to experience the stunning waters of Tamarindo.

These waters are known for Amberjack, Mahi Mahi,  African Pompano Jack, Yellowfin Tuna, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!

You'll find yourself aboard the Reel Mermaid, a 34' Sirena sportfishing vessel that holds up to 10 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray) Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
