The fish in these waters include Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Bluefish (Tailor), Blue Cod, Finescale Triggerfish, Stone Triggerfish, Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Flounder, and more if conditions are right.

You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. John also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

You'll be casting lines from a 32' Downeast that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
