We had to move our fishing day due to a conflict and Alex made this vey easy. The captain and mate were both Thai and spoke very little English, but this didn’t matter. They were both very professional and did their job very well and we never felt unattended. I was the only experienced fisher in the group and jigged up some beautiful fish; and with help from the crew the rest in my party all caught fish, some of which were their personal best. We trolled up a skipjack tuna on the way to the jigging grounds (sashimi for later) and jigged up a bunch of very good sized groupers and snappers as well as some other exotics caught on saki and jigs. The crew cooked up some of the grouper we caught and made sashimi with the tuna for lunch which was really great.

Loved the tour start to finish!! Alexey was a great communicator from the time we booked the tour until we got to the boat. He did not fish with us but that wasn’t an issue. Price was good at about 600 US for the entire boat to ourselves(total cost) group of 6. . . Nice boat, comfy with inside room with shade all day. Lunch was great and included the fish we caught cooked on the boat including tuna, grouper and several others. Captain and first mate spoke no English but that wasn’t an issue. They got us to the fish and kept all the gear working perfectly. Started at 8am and ended by 5pm, perfect amount of time on the water. If you’ve got a group and wanna make it a private fishing day this is the way to go!

Our goal with the game fish trip was to get into the big ones, ideally a sailfish, with more quality than quantity. The all-Thai crew led by Capt Dan worked hard and were terrific. They fixed an amazing lunch, especially considering the tiny galley. The boat and equipment were in excellent shape and the crew efficient in getting everything set up. By midafternoon we landed a very nice sailfish and more were jumping in the area. Captain Alexey was very responsive to my queries and the trip ran on time with a solid eight hours of fishing.

Highly recommended! From the first contact Alexey was responsive, communicative and helpful. He set up the trip but there are locals piloting the boat and serving as first mate, and it all works out smoothly. I love offshore fishing and wanted to catch some fish while on our family trip to Phuket. This was a first time trolling trip for my wife and my children ages 7, 5, and 2. They arranged pickup from our hotel to Chalong pier. The boat is spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was a cooler full of soft drinks and bottled water. The kids enjoyed exploring the boat. We all enjoyed the amazing views and the breeze while relaxing on the shaded upper deck. Later when the kids were tired they had naps in the comfy lower cabin. We trolled out to Racha Yai island and caught 6 skipjack tuna and my kids took turns helping to reel them in. The crew made an amazing lunch for us with sashimi and all kinds of delicious local food. We pulled into a sheltered bay and had a great time snorkeling surrounded by myriad reef fish. The crew was friendly, helpful and flexible. I think normally the trip includes more time trolling in the afternoon, but I requested to let the kids snorkel longer as they were having so much fun and I wanted to make sure they loved their first boat trip. (Personally, I would have liked more fishing time, but sometimes dads need to sacrifice, haha) In any case they gave us a little over 8 hours on the boat and were eager to accommodate our family’s requests. They asked if we wanted the fish, but I did not know what we would do with six tuna at our hotel so I asked if they would clean one and slice it up into sashimi for us to take with us and they were happy to oblige. They even gave us soy sauce and wasabi to take with us. Great memories and I would book with Alexey and his crew again!

Alexey was very responsive during booking and prior to trip. He greeted us at the pier and ensured we were set up on the boat before seeing us off. Though we didn’t catch big game fish while trolling, we did catch quite a variety during bottom fishing. The lunch served was excellent!  Overall, it was a great day out on the water.
