About the Captain

Ted Gibson

Member since August 2016
My name is Captain Ted Gibson. I began my professional guiding career after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire in 2009 with a Biology degree. The fall after graduation I took a job as a guide in the Everglades National Park where I chased after Snook, Redfish, and Sea Trout. Since that first winter in the Everglades my experiences have included being a cameraman in Africa, Operating boats in the Gulf of Alaska, and many more! Over the years I have been upgrading my captains license and currently hold a 50 ton Masters. I gained my Offshore Fishing experience working for one of the largest and busiest companies in the Naples area. I took up the offshore fishing game quickly and started catching some really nice fish!

We had a fun trip and got to see dolphins, jellyfish, a sea turtle, and caught a small shark and very large grouper.

I brought 3 teenage boys and they had a blast.  We all caught some fish. Captain Ted is very knowledgeable about the fishing grounds and patient when helping out the kids.  I would recommend this trip to others.
