Even Better Charter Fishing is on a mission to make sure you have an unforgettable fishing experience every time you go out with them. This crew will go above and beyond to make sure you are safe and comfortable and make it its primary goal that your family has a fun day on the water. As life-long natives of Amelia Island, these anglers know where the fish is and will make certain that there is fish on the dock upon your return.
Their boat is a 34’ Bill Ritchie custom made for offshore sport fishing, which was built in 1989. It is powered by two 330 HP Cummins engines with a maximum cruising speed of 31 knots and can take up to 6 persons. It is a safe vessel with a radar, GPS, a VHF radio, and a fishfinder essential for locating those honey pot fishing spots. The boat boasts a toilet which is a much appreciated and necessary feature if you take your family out on the water for the day. A fighting chair, rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures are all provided by the welcoming crew.
Even Better Fishing Charters’ crew is familiar with various fishing techniques such as light and heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, and drift fishing. The captain and crew are able to teach you and your family these techniques depending on the seasonality of the fish you are catching. Excellent Cobia, Tarpon, Black Drum, Black Seabass, Spanish Mackerel, sharks, and Redfish can all be caught in the area. The crew will also fillet your fish, so you can take your catch to a local restaurant for dinner.
