Super fun trip with a great group of anglers fishing out of Venice, Florida. We started the morning along some oyster beds looking for Sheepshead. The oyster beds produced a couple nice Sea Trout but no Sheepshead. So after a little while we changed areas and began fishing around some mangrove shoreline to the north. It was here where we started getting into some very nice Sheepshead and even a few Black Drum. As the morning proceeded I moved us a little farther north again and we began hitting the Redfish and Sheepshead on almost every cast. The Redfish were all low slot sixed fish in the 18" to 22" range and the Sheepshead were everywhere it seemed. At the end of the day they took home enough to feed everyone with fish tacos for a couple days.
