Had an amazing time with Capt. Donovan. Firstly leading up to the trip he made recommendations based on the weather for where we’d have the best experience, double checked with us on any special needs and prepped me for what I’d need my crew to bring with us. Once the night started we had an awesome time, trolling through the Everglades hunting Tilapia for Sunday dinner. Capt. Donovan did a nice job explaining the equipment and how to use it and most importantly remained patient with us as we stumbled through our first experience. We had such a great time, I plan to utilize him for team building events for work as well as personal fun trips. I highly recommend booking with Capt. Donovan for a once in a lifetime experience.

One of the best fishing trips ever!  Captain Donovan is a top notch captain totally committed to providing his clients an incredible experience - no matter the skill or experience.  We were fishing for Wild blue talapia and we were not disappointed!  If we were any good, we would have needed another cooler for our catches.  Even with our novice skills, the three of us got 11 great sized fish ranging from 3-6 pounds.  We averaged one fish for every 5 times we shot an arrow.  When he tells you to aim low, he’s not kidding.  Aim “stupid” low!  Thank you Captain Donavan for a great time.  We will definitely be back soon!

In planning a three day fishing trip for my son and I, I ran across captain Donovan and arrow assault bow fishing for ocean species.  I had no idea this was a thing so we had to try it.  This will now be a part of every trip.  Capt Donovan was a great help in instruction while constantly keeping an up beat and fun experience.  I think he felt as much joy as we did when we hit something and as much pain when we missed.  Great Capt, great boat, great gear, great experience.

The bowfishing trip in Miami with Captain Donovan was awesome. Most fun we’ve ever had fishing. My 10 year old son loved it. And had minimal experience with a bow. We shot many stingrays, pin fish, a sheepshead, and a barracuda. The weather was great at night too. Pretty good visibility. We wanted to schedule another trip, but unfortunately couldn’t. We’ll Def do it again next time we’re in Miami. Captain Donovan even mailed us a stinger from the stingray we caught.

Probably the most fun I had in a very very long time. Captain Donovan is a phenomenal captain. One of the nicest men I have ever met. Upon arriving, my wife had severe anxiety that night because it was dark and somewhat of a remote location. Captain Donovan did an amazing job at making my wife feel calm and took the time to help her through it. We both overall enjoyed the experience so much, 100% a must for next time we come to Miami!
