The south side of Long Island is blessed with a fantastic location: bountiful inshore waters the Great South Bay and the wide-open Atlantic Ocean further out. Reel Nauti Charters is keen on showing you just how good fishing can be in this diverse locale.
Captain Ted Henn invites you to join him for an angling adventure on board his 40’ Pacemaker. She’s a flybridge, put on the water in 1975 and fully rejuvenated in 2012 – a time-tested hull design combined with all the modern amenities. The engines are twin Detroit diesels with 320 HP each.
There’s ample space for groups of up to six people. The onboard flybridge has a cover on the top, so you can enjoy the views while in the shade. She’s fully equipped with navigational and safety electronics, Capt. Ted will find the fish quickly and safely.
There’s plenty of fishing equipment on board to give you an edge in landing that “one” fish. Outriggers will extend your reach when trolling and allow you to wet more lines. Once you get a strike, strap in the fighting chair and let the battle begin!
You have a wide range of species and waters to target with Reel Nauti Charters. The inshore action consists of Flounder, Weakfish, and Striped Bass hook ups. Offshore runs will see you target Bluefin, Yellowfin, and Bigeye Tuna, as well as Marlin and Mahi Mahi. If you’re a fan of Shark fishing, you’re in luck; Capt. Ted targets Mako and Thresher Sharks.
Kids are welcome on board but please notify the captain you’re bringing your little angler in advance. The crew works very hard to ensure your trip is as pleasant as possible – gratuity is greatly appreciated.
