Bass Fishing Florida Guide service is your go to Bass fishing charter! They are owned and operated by Captain Roger Gonzales who is a true expert and a Bass fishing devotee. He has participated and ranked highly in a number of IGFA tournaments and other local tournaments. He knows all the best spots on the vast and beautiful waters of Lake Okeechobee, which contain a healthy population of Bass species.

Captain Roger will provide assistance as much as you need in order to catch Peacock Bass and Largemouth Bass, depending on the season.

On a typical day of fishing in South Florida, it’s common to catch the majestic and strong fighting fish called Peacock Bass - a South American native species that used to be found only in the Amazon waterways.  It was introduced in the US in 1984 as one of the non-native species and has since been one of the prime target fish because of it’s wild and aggressive behavior, and incredible strength.

Your captain will provide you with expert tips and guidance, as well as all the fishing gear you need. Included in the price of your trip are rods, reels, tackle, lures and fly fishing equipment, but you are also welcome to bring your own gear.

The fishing will take place aboard a 21 foot Triton bass boat, which is powered by a 250 HP Mercury engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 60 knots. It is a fast and reliable boat, that was purpose built for Bass fishing. It contains a GPS and a fishfinder for locating the best fishing spots, an icebox for your catch and a livewell for the live baits.
