Saltwater Fever Guide Service takes you fishing around the inshore waters outside of Rockport, TX. Whether you’re a veteran angler, or simply want to try fishing, trips with Capt. Jonathan have just what you need. The action here takes place year round. Get your bag and come along.

Capt. Jonathan has been in the business for the past ten years. He knows the local fisheries well and will work to put you on fish. He can cater to anglers of all levels of expertise.

Rockport fishing get hot during the summer. Inshore, you can catch Trout, with other species swimming nearby. Then, come fall, the action moves to Redfish and Black Drum. They can get really big, and it’s fun to catch them, too. Other species include Flounder and Sheepshead. So you see, it’s juicy table fare all over the place.

To get to these fisheries, Capt. Jonathan will take you out on his 22’ Blue Wave center console. She is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine. Up to five people can join the chase. The boat has GPS, a live bait well, and stores life jackets.

You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle onboard. Remember to bring a valid fishing license when coming along. Prepare sandwiches, or other snacks and drinks. Put on a cap, sunglasses, sunblock, light clothes, and non-marking shoes. Then hop onboard and enjoy the action!

The fishing is fine year round, but summer proves to be the peak season. That's when you can get Trout. In fall, it's mostly about Red and Black Drum. This package is great for more experienced anglers. Bring a valid saltwater fishing license, pack food and drinks, put on a cap, sunglasses, and comfortable clothes.
