Marina De Cascais
Cascais LI, Portugal

Andala fishing is run by an enthusiastic crew who love fishing as much as they love seeing their guests’ smiling faces. They are operated by Captain Thomas and his welcoming crew of professional fisherman who have all been on the water for most of their lives. Their crew includes a 71-year-old skipper, too, who loves sharing his experiences with guests. They fish in the beautiful Portuguese waters of the Atlantic Ocean in the most western point of Europe that is rich in so many fish species that any trip can produce a huge variety of fish you never dreamed you could catch. You can also take sunset cruises or sightseeing tours that are guaranteed to make you want to stay in this area for a long time.

You will fish aboard the 24 foot Rodman offshore sportfishing boat, which was originally built in 2006 and has a capacity for 8 guests. This beauty is powered by two 187.HP Volvo/Penta engines and is pretty fast and stable on the water. The boat is equipped with all the best electronics including a GPS, a great fishfinder, a VHF radio and a radar. It also contains all the safety equipment including an EPIRB, so you know you will be safe. You will find its flybridge very useful when spotting the fish or just sightseeing and using it as a platform that gives incredible views of the surrounding area. The boat also has a toilet, a kitchen with a refrigerator and a bed, so you may even rest if you feel the need to.

Andala fishes in the bay of Cascais and can take you as far as Lisbon in order to catch fish and to sightsee. The diversity of the fish species in this area is huge, so you can target anything from Atlantic Croaker, Turbot, Flounder, Black and Goliath Grouper, John Dory, Horse-eye Jack, Mahi Mahi, Sheepshead, Red Snapper, Giant Trevally, Skipjack Tuna and White Marlins among others. The professional crew will provide all the necessary fishing equipment in form of rods, reels, tackle, bait and a fishing license. You’ll also have a cleaning and filleting service.
