Capt. Gary Sills Galveston Fishing

P.O Box 293
Seabrook TX, United States

Whether you are an experienced or a novice angler, you and your friends or family should contact Captain Gary Sills if you are planning a fishing trip in Galveston, Texas. Captain Gary is an experienced saltwater angler who specializes in providing memorable experiences for anglers of all ages and ability levels. Come and discover the beauty of catching Redfish, Trout, Flounder… and yes EVEN SHARKS!

Your fishing trip will take place aboard Captain Gary’s Ranger bay boat, a popular and effective fishing vessel designed just for fishing waters like those in the Galveston Bay system. The boat is fitted with a trolling motor and an anchoring system, and it has a GPS and fishfinder to allow for extremely precise navigation. The boat also has a live bait tank, and there is room on board for groups of up to six people.

Captain Gary offers half and full day fishing trips, which can either be spent fishing for Redfish, Trout, and Flounder in the local bays, or you can target Sharks and Bull Redfish (according to season). If you would rather spend your time on the water sightseeing and boating alongside dolphins as the sun sets, Captain Gary can create the perfect package for you. Just let him know what you want to do and he will do all he can to help.

Fishing rods and reels are included in the trip price, and so are artificial lures and live shrimp. Please note that there is an additional fee for any other live bait you would like to use.

Make sure to be in possession of a valid Texas saltwater fishing license before embarking on your fishing trip.

Capt. Gary is great to work with and put us on the fish.  The day provided unusual conditions but we caught all day.  Plenty of undersized trout and even a few big ones that got away close to the boat. Finished the day with about 10 good keepers including a nice Spanish Mackerel.  We actually did much better that others on the water that day.  Great guy and very knowledgeable; would recommend and will book him again in the future.

I had planned to have a guided fishing expedition with my two great nephews, ages 10 and 12, and their Dad, for some time. I booked with Gary Sills (never before) for a half day and met him at the Texas City Dike before sunrise on a Friday morning. Gary was very professional, friendly, hard working and, especially, very good with the boys. I doubt that I could have made a better choice. It was not about filling the boat with fish but about teaching the boys about how inshore bay fishing is done, right. We did catch enough fish to make it feel successful and everyone had a great time. The only small issue was that some of his reels were in need of a little work…but no big thing. I will definitely call Gary the next time I want to fish.

My son and I had a very good trip, we know that Gary almost cancelled our trip ,due to windy conditions and stained waters, Capt Gary was still able to put us on fish and all species we spoke of before our trip.
I would recommend and will hire him again.
Thanks for the experience Capt Gary.
